The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) has extended their deadline for abstracts to January 31, 2020. This year’s spring NHMA conference will take place in Washington DC from April 30 to May 3, 2020. NHMA is seeking innovative strategies for practice, teaching, and research from physicians and students who provide healthcare and behavioral healthcare for the Hispanic community. Topics at this year’s conference include; improving Hispanic health, technology and health, research, business, faculty development, womens and immigrants’ health opioid crisis, and Medicaid. MOLA members will receive a discounted rate, students receive a significant discount and residents and junior faculty are able to attend the research day fully funded.
