Reivian Berrios Barillas, PT, MPT, DPT, PhD

Reivian Berrios Barillas is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh.

 She received a master’s in physical therapy degree from Marquette University, a doctorate in physical therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine and completed a PhD in Clinical Translational Rehabilitation and Health Sciences from Marquette University.

 She has practiced in orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy for many years. Dr. Berrios has extensive experience teaching human gross anatomy in a variety of learning formats and is responsible for physical therapy musculoskeletal courses.                           

Her research interests include anatomy/musculoskeletal education and health services. She has served numerous local and national groups to promote health education and services for various populations.

 Dr. Berrios is honored to be a MOLA board member because it allows her to continue to be a mentor and resource for future medical professionals.
