Passion for Philanthropy:
Gregg has seen first-hand the direct impact that philanthropy and nonprofits have on their communities to enact positive change for current and future generations. He is passionate about strengthening their causes, missions, and impact as the world of philanthropy evolves and adapts to the ever-changing 21st century. Gregg recognizes the dynamic nature of philanthropy and strives to ensure that our support for nonprofits is just as vigorous and vibrant as the industry itself.
Experience:
Gregg is currently working with the American Cancer Society on a $55M Chicago market campaign within a $4B enterprise-wide fundraising effort. He recently concluded leading a campaign feasibility study for Save the Chimps, the largest chimpanzee sanctuary in the United States, as they continue to expand their campus and operations. He also recently completed campaign management with United Way of Champaign County in their effort to celebrate their centennial with an unprecedented campaign effort. These projects each involved critically analyzing the ever-dynamic philanthropic market to uncover perspectives on development in a post-COVID world and help identify significant opportunities for philanthropic growth. Gregg thrives in working one-on-one with an organization’s leaders, board of directors, and key philanthropists to strategize for robust and transformational campaigns.
Gregg is thrilled to bring his skills in research, fundraising, and project management to his client partnerships. Gregg has nearly a decade of experience in research design, economic development research, and grant writing. He has managed major private and federal grants and reported on impact using first-hand constituent data. This experience includes field based research on economic and community development in both academic and institutional settings, which has allowed him to work with nonprofit organizations of all sizes. He is a life-long learner and an engaged collaborator who is passionate about cultures, communities, and the people who keep them moving forward.
