BMSF Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Program – Application Open

On behalf of the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation and National Medical Fellowships, we are excited to announce the application for the BMSF Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Program (DCTCDP) is officially OPEN! The application is a two-step process, beginning with a Letter of Intent (LOI). Each LOI will be reviewed by the DCTCDP Selection Committee. Candidates will receive an email with notification of whether they are invited to submit a full application for the 2021 cohort or if they are encouraged to reapply for a future cohort.

The BMSF DCTCDP is a 2-year program designed to support the career development of early-stage investigator (as defined by NIH) physicians underrepresented in medicine, or physicians who have a demonstrated commitment to increasing diversity in clinical research, to become independent clinical trial investigators who are engaged in advancing health equity through their research and mentoring. The DCTCDP provides an award for salary support to protect time for all program-related activities.
