Hiring a Director of Business Operations
The Clinical Sciences Education Director for Pediatrics reports to the Vice Chair, Clinical Sciences for all matters pertaining to curriculum and medical student education. This individual is responsible for the development, design, coordination, and implementation of the curriculum in their respective specialty. They are responsible for assuring comparability of educational experiences and equivalency of student assessment across all learning sites. They will collaborate with the Student Affairs and Education Office and the Department of Foundational Sciences & Humanities to ensure vertical integration of the curriculum across the continuum of the medical education degree program. This individual will also collaborate with the clinical site directors and teaching faculty to create clinical education experiences where such experiences will add significant value to student learning and competency.
Experience Required: Required Education and Experience: Doctor of Medicine MD, or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine DO (with Board Certification in their specialty if involved in the practice plan) Three or more years clinical patient care experience in pediatrics or pediatric sub-specialty Experience managing professionals in a complex organization Proven experience in management of multiple initiatives and multiple sites Academic faculty status at allopathic or osteopathic medical school Must achieve satisfactory results from a background check
