MOLA’s 2019 Family Picnic on June 15th was the first time welcoming the new IMG committee, with over 30 attendees from this new and vibrant part of MOLA! The event also engaged many families and initiated new links between students, future residency applicants, current residents, and attending physicians! It was the perfect opportunity to share stories, support each other, and develop our community in a warm as well as friendly environment.
The event was coordinated by MOLA’s Wellness and Advancement committee under Dr. Fidel Castillo and Dr. Pilar Guerrero’s leadership and the IMG committee under Dr. Shoja Salazar and Dr. Miguel Carabano’s leadership. What a great way to start the Summer!
