With the confirmation of the 2024 presidential election results, we at the Medical Organization for Latino Advancement (MOLA) are reminded of the resilience that has driven us since our founding. Eight years ago, following another pivotal election, MOLA was created with a shared vision for a stronger, more inclusive future for our community. That moment inspired us to unite with purpose, to stand up for the health, representation, and empowerment of Hispanic, Latine, and Spanish-speaking communities in health care and beyond.
Today, as we face a similar challenge, our resolve is stronger than ever. We are still here, resilient and unwavering in our commitment to this collective work. Throughout this campaign, undocumented immigrants faced a wave of unwarranted harmful rhetoric. We stand firmly with the migrant community and believe that all immigrants have a home here.
With every obstacle, our dedication to uplifting, empowering, and advocating for the health of the Hispanic/Latine community only grows. To keep pushing forward, we invite you to continue this work and strengthen your engagement with us. Together, we can build a healthier, more equitable future for our community.
Juntos podemos lograr la equidad para nuestros profesionales de la salud, nuestras familias y nuestra comunidad.
